Who We Are
Southend Care Bank is a community-driven charity run and staffed by caring individuals helping to break the cycle of hygiene poverty in Southend-on-Sea.
We provide essential toiletries and support for families and individuals facing unseen struggles.
Our approach is rooted in radical empathy and solidarity. We make generous assumptions about people and offer a dignified experience.
We are here to help and offer a friendly ear if that’s what’s needed too.
We're Here For Everyone
You can locate us at two convenient Southend locations.
- St Mark’s Centre, first Tuesday of the month, 09:30 – 11:30
- Westcliff Library, third Thursday of the month, 9:30-10:30
These regular intervals provide you with opportunities to drop-in and use our service, engage with us, or support those facing hygiene poverty in our community by donating.
We’re dedicated to making access to essential items easier for everyone, and these locations are a part of our commitment to ensuring that no one must compromise on their well-being.
